After the great feedback I received in relation to my blog post last year with Mothers day gift ideas; I decided to write my gift ideas this year again for the most important woman in your life – Your Mother!

Mothers deserve only the best all year round but this Sunday they need an extra boost of pampering and attention. Whether you are looking for inspiration on what to get your Mother, someone who is a Mother figure to you or maybe you’re a man looking for something to buy your partner a gift from the children; this gift guide has something for everyone.

Miss Daisy Florist – The “Perfectly Pink” Flower Box

First of all, the obvious things to get your Mam is a card and pretty flowers. For deliveries in the Dublin area Miss Daisy Florist is a great option. They do amazing bouquets and arrangements like the stunning “Perfectly Pink” flower box (see picture). If you are outside Dublin, there are plenty of options in every town/city to arrange that special flower delivery this Sunday.

Pretty much everyone wears jeans and if your Mam is anything like mine then she likes a nice comfortable fit of jeans. Model, blogger and now jeans designer Pippa O’Connor Ormond has taken her online business (POCO By Pippa) into a pop up shop in Dundrum town centre. This is a great chance for to try the jeans on in store and get style advice from the floor staff and you might even be lucky enough to get style tips from the main woman herself.

For the Mother that likes to stay stylish, our handbag selection at Glitz N Glamm is perfect for wearing with her Poco jeans. View our collection of handbags HERE.

Perfume is such a personal thing so I find it difficult to choose for people but one brand that I definitely recommend is Jo Malone. If you haven’t smelled her colognes yet, what have you been doing? You need to smell them! This brand is classy and sophisticated. There is a scent to suit everyone and you can also layer each of the scents with each other to create your own scent. On top of the amazing fragrance, the packaging is definitely on point. Buy your Mother Jo Malone perfume and thank me later. Available at Brown Thomas.

Last but by no means last of my suggestions is for to spend good old quality time with your Mother. Take time out for a nice lunch and walk. Maybe a day away at a spa having pampering treatments together followed by a girls day out workshop. By workshop I mean an event that has hair and skin demonstrations along with tips and tricks. The most popular ones at the minute are held around the country by Suzanne Jackson (So Sue Me) and Pippa O’Connor Ormond. There are other ones popping up along the way too so keep an eye out and one might come to a town/city near you soon. Included in your ticket you get a goodie bag and the calibre of the goodie bags are second to none usually.

I could keep the suggestions flowing but there are just too many to list; But hopefully you have gotten some inspiration from this post. Feel free to comment with any suggestions you may have for Mothers day to help other readers here on Glitz N Glamm.
